THE Steve Derrick Trophy is played each year at Trefloyne Golf Club.

The charity Texas Scramble is not only a very popular competition in the golfing calendar, but also an excellent way of raising funds in Steve’s memory, for The Paul Sartori Foundation.

This year again it drew an excellent field of over fifty entrants, who returned some great scores, on Saturday, 23 May.

Entry fees, and kind voluntary donations from family and friends raised £715 for the Paul Sartori Foundation.

The Derrick family thanked all who supported and participated, resulting in this annual event being an enjoyable and successful day once more. In particular, the family would like to thank Matt and his team, Ryan, and the Beynon family for hosting and making this event possible.

The Paul Sartori Foundation is a Pembrokeshire-based charity that provides hospice care at home for people living with life‑limiting illnesses.
