MILFORD United Football Club Under 13s have benefited from a brand-new kit thanks to the support of Unite the Union’s South West Wales Area Activist Committee.

As part of a commitment to the local community Unite the Union in South West Wales has supported the development of the Under 13’s since the team played at Under 7 level.

Daniel Prettyman Miford United Under 13’s thanked Unite for their continued support: “We are incredibly grateful to Unite the Union for their continued support of the team.

“They have been with us since the boys were playing at Under 7 level, and it means a great deal to have that support continue as they develop and progress.

“Having the backing of Unite locally makes a real difference to team like ours.

“The players are delighted with their new kit, and we would like to thank Unite and the South West Wales Area Activist Committee for continuing to support them.”

Tommy Bowler, Chair of Unite’s South West Wales Area Activist Committee said: “We are delighted to continue our support for Milford United and to see how much the team has developed since we first sponsored them at Under 7 level.

“Our Area Activist Committee is made up of Unite Representatives from workplaces across South West Wales, and we believe it is important that we support the communities in which our members live and work.

“Local football gives young people the opportunity to keep active, build confidence, develop friendships and be part of a team. We wish the players every success for the coming season and hope they enjoy wearing their new kit.”
