The organisers of the 'All the Fun of the Fair' Spring Ball in aid of the Angle Tamar Lifeboat Appeal are pictured at the glittering event last month. A total of 250 people attended the function, held at Folly Farm, Begelly, and the original venue allowed guests to enjoy the fairground attractions prior to the dinner and dancing. Seldom can the dodgems and carousel have been crowded with so many people in evening dress, not to mention Mayors in their chains of office! The Pembrokeshire Raceway Scalextric circuit and Formula One simulator offered additional fun, and welcome drinks and canapés were served prior to the excellent meal by Al Fresco Catering. The evening continued with a lively game of 'heads and tails' and a raffle of wonderful prizes before culminating in dancing to the Pembrokeshire Schools Big Band and Pembrokeshire Schools Jazz Ensemble.
