The Pembrokeshire Christmas Convoy is set to ride again - lighting up the locality!

The spectacular popular procession, one of the highlights of the festive calendar for the area - features all manner of vehicles from tractors and trucks lit up and decked out in decorations, with Santa himself also known to some times make an appearance!

The tour will take place once again on Saturday, December 13.

Due to increased numbers, height restriction bridges etc the route this year has been adjusted to accommodate everyone without the need to separate larger vehicles in certain areas, the organisers of the charity event have stated.

“For spectators please allow some time between each marked area as some parts will take longer to reach than others.

“Estimated times on key areas will be posted this week. We look forward to seeing you all on December 13, and can’t wait to see all the fancy dressed spectators - a great effort from many of you last year!”

The convoy will leave Folly Farm at 5.30pm, with the following areas taken in on the route:

Begelly Roundabout; A477 Roundabout; Pentlepoir; Moreton; Sandyhill Road; Stammers Road; Saundersfoot village; St Brides Hill; Broadfield Hill; New Hedges Village; Tenby Via Broadwell Hayes; Tenby fire station along South Parade; Lower Park Road (Salterns); Tenby Leisure centre on Marsh Road; Heatherton/Manor House; Carew Market Roundabout A477; Broadmoor Cross Inn; Begelly; Templeton; Cold Blow; Princes Gate; Crinow; Narberth Town; Redstone Road; Past Bloomfield onto Penblewin Roundabout; back to Narberth Town.

Comedian Rhod Gilbert has show his support for the cause, thanking the event for raising £3,360 for Velindre Cancer Centre, £400 to the Fire Fighters charity and £150 to St John’s Ambulance from last year.
