The task of keeping Kilgetty’s play park area tidy has been discussed by local councillors.

At the most recent meeting of Kilgetty and Begelly Community Council, Cllr Alistair Cameron said that Pembrokeshire County Council confirmed that they will empty bins in the area at a cost of £7.68 for the first bin and £5.38 for any additional bins within the park - including all associated tipping charges.

He said the quote only relates to the litter bin emptying and does not include litter picking or excessive waste outside the bin - including fly tipping

He added that he understood that the Community Council had obtained some sponsorship for bins from Folly Farm, and would obtain a price for the purchase of two bins from PCC.
