Haverfordwest Gymnastics Club recently entered the West Area five, six, seven years annual tumble and vault competition. Each gymnast performs one vault and one tumble and the overall six individual gymnasts and top three teams are announced in each age group.

In the five-year-old category, Haverfordwest had some outstanding results. Anabelle Wilson was their glory girl, being crowned vault champion as well as picking up fifth place overall. Megan Evans and Poppy Owen also had individual success on tumble, picking up a bronze.

The five-year old Red team, Oliver Reed, Lilly Campbell Lawrence and Poppy Owens, came eighth, while Haverfordwest Silver team, Megan Evans, Freya Rand, Indi Lynch and Anabelle Wilson, picked up third overall. Well done to the youngest members of the club on their fantastic achievement.

In the six-year-old category, the success continued. Seren Holiday came ninth on tumble and eighth overall. Ffion Canton was the club's highest ranked six-year-old, coming seventh on tumble and being awarded a fifth place on vault. Ffion Canton also came fifth overall - well done.

In the team competition, Haverfordwest Blue team, Ava Mason-Davies, Jessica Hartley, Finn Macare and Morgan James, came ninth and the Silver team, Ffion Evans, Dylan Grovesnor, Ffion Canton and Seren Holiday, just missed out on third place by 0.2 marks, finishing in fourth!

In the oldest age category of the competition (seven years), the club had more individual success. Lleucu Lloyd performed superbly coming fifth on vault, third on tumble and was therefore awarded the overall silver trophy.

Haverfordwest Blue team, which consisted of Eleanor Evans, Indigo Young, Cody Milard and Harry Musslewhite, came a creditable seventh, while the Red team, Molly Harries, Freya Lynch, Noah Husband and Lleucu Lloyd, finished fourth - good work.
