TENBY Sailing Club sailing captain Julian Cumpsty and training centre officers are in deep discussions to find the best way forward to encourage youngsters to develop their skills and be able to take part in club racing.

This probably involves the use of more two-man dinghies which will help to build confidence and add an extra safety feature.

Junior training registration is on March 25th and March 31st from 17.30 for youngsters who wish to start the RYA sail training programme for 2026 at Tenby Sailing Club, organised by senior training officer, Harrison Richards.

The Annual lifting–in of the boats in front of the club and St Julian’s Church will be on April 1st.

Tenby Round Table has announced that this year’s Summer Spectaculars will take place in Tenby Harbour on Sunday, 16th August and Sunday, 30th August, making for lots of fun and fireworks at the height of the season.

Last Saturday, Terry’s quiz was well attended, with Team ‘Twp’ taking the honours. All proceeds will go to the RNLI. The next one will be on March 7th.
