The 2025 Welsh Rowing Coastal Championships will return to Saundersfoot Beach this June.

The event will be hosted by Wisemans Bridge Rowing Club with the support of Saundersfoot Sailing Club and Saundersfoot Harbour, on Saturday, June 7. All races will be 4km except for the U16 (14+) race, which will be 2km.

Provisional Schedule is as follows:

Registration: 10 am to 11 am; Briefing: 11:30 am; Racing will take place from 12 noon to 5 pm.

Race 1: CW1x; Race 2: CO2x; Race 3: CW2x; Race 4: CO1x; Race 5:CW4x+; Race 6: U16 (+14) CJO1x, CJW1x, CJMix2x, CJO2x, CJWO2x, CJO4x+, CJW4x+, CJMix4x+; Race 7: CO4x+; Race 8: CMix2x; Race 9: CMix4x+.

The medal ceremony will take place at 6 pm.

Price: £20 per seat, U16 (+14) £10 , Coxes £10.

There will be U19, Open, 40+, 50+, 60+ categories in all races. Adaptive crews are welcome and PR3 rowers in crew boats. The U16 race requires rowers to be 14 on race day, coaches will be required to sign off competitor competence.

Please note: All rowers should have appropriate race insurance. The race will be run under ‘World Rowing’ rules.
