CONGRATULATIONS to all the Tenby and District swimmers who swam at the Swim Wales Summer Championships.
With five days of superb swimming from the Tenby Dolphins and Pembrokeshire County Swimming Team, these local swimmers took part in an amazing amount of finals and had a fantastic week. All of them swam with so much determination that lots of new personal bests (PBs) were set.
As always, a “massive thank you” goes to all the volunteers who helped in preparing the swimmers, as well as the administrators and poolside helpers, the participants’ parents (taxi drivers!) and all the coaches who supported the swimmers through the five days.

Finalists were Elizabeth Davies, Skye Bruce, Bronwyn Clissold, Liz Clissold, Olivia Dashfield, Ffion Griffiths, Euan Monan and Ffion Morris.

Congratulations go to Elizabeth Davies for achieving so many finals, amazing PBs and close relays, while Skye took her first Welsh 200m backstroke medal!

Bronwyn and Ffion G are to be congratulated on their PCS relay success. Meanwhile, Jessica Henson, Brooke Hope, Kathryn Koo, Lily Morgan and Isla Griffiths achieved some incredible PBs showed true determination for racing. The club is proud of them all for not only qualifying but also for giving it everything at the National Pool of Wales.

Elizabeth Clissold represented Wales at the Swim England Open Water National Age Group Championships in Sheffield. She finished 18th in Britain with a great 7.5k swim!

Meanwhile, Euan Monan has been selected to represent Swim Wales at the 2026 National County Team Championships that will be taking place at Ponds Forge Sheffield on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
Tenby and District Swimming Club (also known as Tenby Dolphins) celebrated its 50th anniversary last year. It was incredible to have so many swimmers from the club qualify, yielding the biggest team in at least 10 years!
