EIGHT boats took to the water in pleasant conditions for an en exciting evening of dinghy racing at Tenby Sailing Club on Tuesday, 28 July.
The result were as follows: 1, Redwing 244, Robin Wood and Gary Jarvis; 2, Osprey 1342, Ted Lewis and Lucas Boissevain; 3, Redwing 228, Bill Dowell and Peter Prosser; 4, ILCA 7 165257, Peter Rose; 5, Redwing 241, Julian Cumpsty and Michelle James; 6, Optimist, Lottie Dashfield; 7, RS Feva XL, Chris and Eva Corr; 8, Osprey 1330, John Mckellar and Alistair Knibb.
A good breeze saw a complete mixture of adult and junior members take to the water for two races resulting on Saturday.

Cruiser Racing: Friday’s race saw yachts from both Tenby and Saundersfoot competing.
National Championships: Preparations are well underway for the 80th Firefly National Championships with 116 boats entered and the Commodore’s welcome reception on Saturday, 8 August kicking things off. The week-long event will involve volunteers from across the club for arrivals, safety crew, race officials, beach masters, catering and socials.
