TENBY Sailing Club’s clubroom has reopened after the completion of refurbishment work.

This is where Terry Evans will be hosting his popular charity quiz next Saturday, February 7th at 8pm. All proceeds will as usual go to the RNLI.

Dinghy racing

The Redwing fleet is undergoing normal winter maintenance, with club boats being carefully brought up to top condition by Bill Dowell and the keen Redwing sailors.

The first handicap race will be a practice race on March 28th, with the first points races on Easter Saturday, April 4th.

Cruiser racing

Weather permitting, the cruiser racing will begin on April 17th.

Junior training

Registration for the junior training is on March 25th and March 31st for youngsters who wish to start the RYA sail training programme for 2026 at Tenby Sailing Club, organised by Vice-Commodore, Harrison Richards.

Boat-lift

The annual lifting–in of the boats in front of the club and St Julians’ Church will be on April 1st.

Regatta

The club has announced that the Regatta and Round Caldey Race this year will take place on June 13th and 14th.

The Tenby Regatta and Round Caldey Race are two of the most anticipated sailing events in Tenby.

The regatta is open to all and features a variety of races, including handicap racing and cruiser races.

The Round Caldey Race is a highlight of the event and is known for its competitive spirit and scenic sailing routes.
