TENBY Sailing Club have announced that the Regatta and Round Caldey Race this year will take place on June 13th and 14th.
The Tenby Regatta and Round Caldey Race are two of the most anticipated sailing events in Tenby.
The regatta is open to all and features a variety of races, including handicap racing and cruiser races.
The Round Caldey Race is a highlight of the event and is known for its competitive spirit and scenic sailing routes.
Following a productive meeting of sailors last Saturday evening, Sailing Captain Julian Cumpsty was able to formulate the sailing programme for 2026.
The main Handicap series will be sailed on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Peter Rose will continue his excellent work as results co-ordinator. The National Redwings will also have Class Racing organised by Dan Jackson.
Cruiser Captain Tom Eyre has developed the 2026 fixture list to provide 20 points races, as well as a July Cruise in Company to Ireland.
Junior training registration for young potential sailors between the ages of 8 and 16 will be on March 25th and March 31st at 17.30, followed on April 8th by the first session on the water.
Ed Dashfield with his safety crew have ensured that the five rigid inflatable safety boats and the Club’s Pilot Boat are all maintained to Royal Yacting Association standards, ready for the busy season ahead.
Terry’s next brainstorming charity quiz will be on Saturday, February 7th at 8pm. All proceeds will as usual go to the RNLI.
Boat-Lift: The Large Crane will be lifting–in the boats on April 1st.
