Narberth slipped a place off the top of division one following a 0-0 result away at Pennar Robins, giving credence to the critics who don't believe they have the stamina to win the title.

Despite the result, the Bluebirds are just one point behind Goodwick United who have played a game more than the second placed team and have time to make the deficit up, yet with Hakin looming in third place, just one point behind with two games in hand, the pressure will be on for them to recapture the form they produced in 2013, as 2014 hasn't been too kind..

Goodwick overtook Narberth following an excellent 4-0 win at St. Clears, while Hundleton picked up some much-needed points after a 2-0 home win over St. Ishmaels.

Craig Manning and Jason Donohue both scored to ensure the win in this proverbial six-pointer and, although Hundleton are still in the bottom two, the win helped them claw back some points on third from bottom Saundersfoot Sports, who could only draw 1-1 at Neyland thanks to a Chris Milward goal.

A Sam Christopher goal wasn't enough for Tenby to move through to the semi-finals of the Tony Nakonecznyj Insurance Brokers WWFA Intermediate Cup after they bombed out 2-1 at Seaside.

If there is a silver lining from the defeat, it's the fact they will have more time to catch up on league matches, having played fewer than anyone else in the league.

Kilgetty's home clash against Angle in division two was postponed, but Carew were in action at home and it was certainly a game full of action as the teams drew 4-4.

Lloyd Hughes struck twice for the home side, with Will Hughes and James Adie netting the others

In division three, Narberth seconds achieved what their first team couldn't as they beat Pennar Robins' third team 2-0.

Dylan Davies got the first of the home team's goals, with Liam Phillips grabbing the other.

Elsewhere in the division, Manorbier United drew 3-3 at Clarbeston Road thanks to goals from Hugo Wellham, Mike Brown and James Hall, while there was a derby going on at Cosheston as the Cougars entertained Lamphey, with the points going back with the visitors.

The win puts them top of the league, but with just four games left and with Tenby seconds and Haverfordwest Cricket Club breathing down their necks with games in hand, promotion isn't guaranteed. That said, it was another good performance by the visitors, with Dan Kitts and Mike Davies both scoring and Wayne Boswell netting a consolation for the home team.

Lawrenny's game at Merlins Bridge seconds was postponed, while Tenby seconds slammed in the goals against Hubberston, winning 8-1.

Jack Christopher, Mo Safin and James Nicholas both scored twice for the home side before Ricky Rees Thomas and Richard Tebbitt each slotted one home for an emphatic win.

The quarter-finals of the division four cup took place over the weekend, with St. Clears' seconds making it through by the skin of their teeth following an extra-time win.

They beat Saundersfoot Sports' seconds 4-3 in an enthralling clash in which Simon Bancroft was the hero as his hat-trick helped propel the Saints to victory. Steff Jenkins was the other man to score in this epic encounter.

For the Sports, Joe Farrell and Jamie Picton with a brace both scored.

Monkton Swifts' seconds are out after a 4-1 home defeat against Milford United seconds, with Stuart Slater grabbing their only score, but there was better news for Pembroke Boro as they won 5-2 at home against Neyland seconds.

Jason Beynon and Mark Evans were the men to score for the home side in their comfortable win.

Pendine's league match against West Dragons was postponed, but there was good news for Carew seconds as they raced to a 7-1 away win at Prendergast Villa reserves.

The win ensures they are now 10 points clear of third-placed Milford Athletic seconds and are odds-on favourites for promotion after Chris Tooze and Scott Ferney scored twice alongside goals from Scott Cowper, Sam Goodwin and Sean O'Neill.

Meanwhile, St Florence hammered St. Ishmael's seconds 5-0 away.

In division five, Narberth thirds lost 9-2 away at Broad Haven seconds, with Jordan Howell and Dave Lavin scoring, but it was better news for Kilgetty seconds as a Grant James brace together with a Richard Griffiths strike helped them beat Carew thirds 3-2. For Carew, the goals were scored by Luke Marklew and Johnny Harries.

Angle seconds had a fine 3-1 home win over Solva seconds, with Luke Wickland, Nathan Ferrier and Josh Richards all scoring, while Lawrenny seconds won 8-1 at home against their counterparts from Pembroke Boro.

Adam Bentley struck for the away side, but a John Phillips brace and goals from the ageless Ian Jenkins, Brad Jenkins, Josh Duckfield, Dean Morris and Mike Howe ensured the points stayed at home.

Finally, the goals were flying in at Monkton Swifts as Cosheston Cougars' seconds beat the home team's thirds 5-2.

Carl Rees was on form for the visitors, hitting four past the home team's 'keeper and Mathew Cheung the other, while Andy Thomas and Liam Butland scored for the home team.
