The first round of the Tony Nakonecznyj Insurance Brokers WWFA Intermediate Cup first round got under way over the weekend, with St. Clears having the easiest passage through after their game against Hendy was postponed following the visitors' failure to raise a side. They consequently withdrew from the competition, allowing the Saints to go marching through.
Elsewhere, Narberth showed just how good they are this season by beating West Dragons 3-1 at home.
The Bluebirds had no problems disposing of last year's SeniorCup finalists as Dorian Davies, Ade Jones and Morgan Preece all found the back of the net to allow a swift way into round two.
Pendine had a day to forget at Team Swansea (University) as they went down 10-1 to record their heaviest and most miserable result of the season. Craig Hurst may have slotted one home for the Gulls, but it was scant consolation after suffering at the hands of the ruthless home side.
Carew entertained Penyfan United and had no issues with the visitors by disposing of them 3-1.
James Hinchliffe, Alex Bailey and Nicky Barber all scored for the home side in a morale-boosting win for the home team.
Tenby travelled to Ragged School and won a hard fought encounter 2-1. Sam Christopher scored first for the visitors, with Daryl Mansbridge netting the second.
Saundersfoot Sports, meanwhile, played host to Tonna who were no match for the home side as they romped to a 3-0 win.
Richard Cope continued his fine form this season with the first before Russell Evans and Luke Wallis put the game to bed later on.
It wasn't such a happy day for Manorbier United, however, as they lost 3-0 at Sunnybank.
In league action, Narberth seconds travelled to Broad Haven and had few troubles in winning comfortably after notching up a comprehensive 5-1 win.
Dafydd Wright scored twice for the visitors, with the other goals coming from Josh Layzell, Callum O'Connell and Dylan Davies.
Tenby seconds were at home to Lawrenny in the derby clash of the day, with the home side winning 2-0. Richard Tebbitt was on fire for the home team as he rifled in both goals to send the visitors home with nothing to show for their afternoon's work.
In division four, Saundersfoot Sports' seconds drew 3-3 at Pembroke Boro, with Geoff Marsh claiming a brace and Jason Bridges the other, while St. Florence gained a vital win at home to Neyland seconds as they won 3-2.
Never an easy team to play the home side were indebted to Jay Clark, Scott Smith and the Mr consistent himself, Ashley Smith, for the goals.
Carew seconds were in Bullish form at St. Ishmaels' seconds as veteran midfielder Richard Bullock claimed a hat-trick to condemn the home side to a 3-2 defeat, while St. Clears' seconds were at West Dragons seconds and won a close encounter 3-2, with Kilgetty seconds winning their third game of the season following a 3-1 win over Herbrandston.
Dean Morgan scored the first for the Kingsmoor outfit, before Adam Frearson followed with an own goal by the visitors completing the day's play.
Narberth thirds' game at home to Pembroke Boro, meanwhile, was postponed after the visitors failed to raise a side.
Finally, it was a day to forget for Carew thirds as they lost 5-0 at Solva.
