Following the August break, the competition is fierce for top rod this season with just 10 points separating the top four places, gains being made by Tony O’Neill, Andrew Wilson and Franco Annatasio over Andy Young.

July’s matches were held at Burry Port with the spoils being pretty well shared between Franco and Tony O’Neill, almost every fish recorded being Smoothhound.

Sunday, September 17 - Tenby South Beach. Sign on at the car park by 9.15 am, fishing 10 am to 2 pm, weigh-in at the car par park after the match.

Sunday, October 22 - Llansteffan. Sign on at the car park by 11.15 am, fishing noon to 4 pm, with the weigh-in at the car park after the match.
