Frostbite Series

Surprise, surprise - no racing last Sunday! The thought of Force 8 + winds deterred everyone.

The next two Frostbite races are at 10 am on Sunday, November 10.

Cruiser Lift Out

The winter removal of boats from the harbour is proceeding on schedule. Those with craft still in the harbour last Sunday night were very relieved that the predicted hurricane force winds did not materialise this far west! South coast moorings in England may not have fared so well.

November Fireworks

Members and guests are invited to warmly watch Saundersfoot's spectacular firework display from the ideal viewing position of the clubhouse windows tomorrow (Saturday, November 2). Hot dogs and drinks will be available and the usual friendly atmosphere. The club will not be open tonight (Friday) however.

Laying Up Supper

The next event in the social calendar is then the Laying Up Supper on Saturday, November 16. £5 a head for home-made steak pie and peas with a pudding - amazingly good value - so don't miss out. Always a great evening!

Annual general meeting

The AGM is at 2 pm on Sunday, November 17. Papers for the AGM have now been sent out by the most appropriate means for each member. Note that there are proposals on membership structure and fees for 2014 to decide at this meeting so please attend to voice your view and vote. Soup and ploughmans' lunches will be available from 1 pm.
