The Pembrokeshire Vikings Mixed Ability Rugby Club have set their marker for the 2022/23 season having held their AGM on Friday (June 24) at Milford Haven RFC, a week after the Mariners Club hosted the Vikings presentation night to round off a hugely successful inaugural season.

Club President Jonathan Twigg, alongside Chairman, Simon Gardiner, Secretary Rachel Gibbs, Treasurer Andrew Meddings and Team Manager Steff Gibbs were all unanimously re-elected for the forthcoming season.

Simon Gardiner outlined the plans which will aim to play all the Clubs in Wales home and away, alongside a short tour to Bath and Bristol.

Last season saw three players and a coach selected to represent the Club in the prestigious colours of the MARIs Rugby team at the Principality Stadium and the Vikings celebrate victory at Parc Y Scarlets in the WRU Scarlets West Finals Day on the home paddock of former Scarlet’s prop and Wales U20 international Gardiner.

The Club would be delighted to hear from individuals or groups who can help Vikings grow and reach more people in Pembrokeshire.
