Saundersfoot Sea Angling Club held a match on Pendine beach on Sunday, February 26. Fishing was disappointing to say the least. Twelve members competed, with only two anglers bringing flounder to the scales.
Results were: 1. Llew Rose with a flounder of 652g (10 points); 2. Isobel Williams (J) with a bag (eight points).
Golden Peg drawn was number 2, Peter Strydom.

Please note - all matches have reverted to single rod unless notified otherwise. Take all safety precautions, especially when fishing rock marks. It is SSAC policy that all rovers must be fished in pairs or more, never alone. If targeting larger species, please ensure that you have access to an accurate set of scales and a camera to record the fish if it is to be released immediately.
Flounder minimum size for SSAC matches is returned to 30cm at the scales with effect from January 2012.
SSAC meetings are held in the Sports Club on the first Wednesday of the month - all are welcome. Next meeting is on April 4.
