Narberth's Marc Hughes is having the kind of season that most players dream of, and last weekend was no exception to that rule after his innings helped his team to a nine-wicket win at Llangwm.
After hitting his second century of the season last weekend, the powerful right-hander struck an imperious 57 not out to guide his team to their third win of the season.
After bowling the home side out for 120 thanks to Ben Quartermaine taking 5-10 and Simon Cole 3-33, the visiting batsmen wasted no time in reaching the target, with Hughes in particular being savage on anything loose.
In total he hit six 6s and three 4s in his brief stay at the crease, while Jordan Howell remained unbeaten on 50 with a six and seven 4s in his innings.
For the second time this season, Lawrenny have conceded over 200 runs for the first wicket, with Carew emulating Narberth's feat after racking up 262-3
Nic Scourfield and Rhys Davies put on 224 for the first wicket with elder statesman Scourfield scoring 102 and young heir to the throne Davies hitting a brilliant 121 with 15 fours and a 6, while Scourfield hit three 6s and four 4' in his knock.
Tom Davies then ripped through the visiting batting taking 4-35 as Lawrenny held on to score 154-9.
Cresselly unexpectedly drew with Neyland after the visitors scored 221-5 with Nathan Banner hitting 99 not out and the all-rounder looked to bowl the home side out after reducing them to 15-3. Yet superb caution to the wind counter-attacking saw Cresselly draw on 216-6 after Nick Davies struck 86 not out and Ryan Lewis 32.
After setting St. Ishmaels 198 to win, Whitland would have been confident of securing their fifth win of the season, but it wasn't to be as the visitors won by four wickets, finishing on 200-6.
The home team were reliant on Paul Davies's 57 and David Dunfee's 54 for most of the runs, while Iestyn Scourfield hit a brief 31 to add to the score.
In reply, Andrew Palmer's 59 and Andrew Williams's unbeaten 40 helped guide the away team over the line, despite Dunfee taking 3-50.
Whitland seconds were away at Lamphey for a proverbial 60-pointer given the precarious nature of both team's languishing in the lower reaches of division two, and it was the visitors who came up trumps as they triumphed by 27 runs.
The visitors' total was built around a solid innings of 82 by Dave Lee, while Paul Webb hit 37 and Raff Williams 30 as they racked up 220-7.
The home team chased the total down hard as Hywel Gibbs hit a quick-fire 53 and David Blackwell 23, but they lost wickets at key intervals thanks to Williams's 3-40 and Geraint Phillips's 3-43 to fall short.
Promotion candidates Johnston beat Carew seconds after bowling them out for 93 and passing it for seven wickets.
Robert Scourfield scored 22 for the visitors and took 3-21 as the home side were made to work hard for their victory.
Cresselly seconds beat Stackpole away after bowling the home side out for 178 thanks to Matthew Lewis taking 4-30, with Hugh Davies top scoring on 42.
In reply, George Wilkins struck 70 and Neil Williams 49 not out to secure the win that puts them in fourth position overall.
Pembroke beat Haverfordwest seconds after scoring 223-5. Rob Weston hit 58 for the home side and James Skeels 52 not out off just 25 balls, while Phil Hay struck 46.
In reply, the Town were bowled out for 160 as Weston took 4-36.
Saundersfoot's relentless march to the title saw them win at Burton after bowling the home side out for 148, with Simon Wood taking 3-12, while Dai Davies wasted no time in reaching the target as he struck 59, with Paul Mansbridge hitting 33.
Narberth seconds hit a mammoth 246-3 at home to Llangwm seconds, yet still went down by three wickets after the visitors pulled off an unlikely win.
Andrew Williams top scored for the home side with 97, while Mike Johns hit 69 and Mike Williams 33 not out in their huge total, but consistent scoring by the visitors saw them overhaul the total for the loss of seven wickets as Williams took 2-40 and Owen Richards 2-45.
Saundersfoot seconds drew at home to Pembroke Dock, with the visitors hanging on to score 175-9 after the home side struck 212-6 thanks to Chris Hawkes's 62 and Simon Stanford's 80.
Scott Griffiths took 3-45 for the Dock and scored 43 in reply, but David Parcell's 3-35 almost bowled the home side to victory.
Kilgetty were bowled out 29 runs short of victory against Haverfordwest thirds after the home side scored 159-9, with Tom Murphy taking 3-25 for the visitors.
In reply, Jake Marsh with 39 was the only score of note after they were bowled out for 130.
Meanwhile, St. Clears didn't have a game.
Lawrenny seconds beat Lawrenny Cresselly by 10 wickets after bowling the visitors out for 72 as Glyn Cole top scored with 29. Adrian Harries was the chief destroyer, taking 4-8, before Lance Osbourne and John Beff, with 22 not out and 44 not out, saw them home.
In division five, Narberth thirds lost to Haverfordwest fourths after setting the visitors 189 to win.
The home team were indebted to Shane Morgan's 57, Dan Hughes Junior's 56 not out and Emyr Jenkins's 35 for their 187-5, but they still went down as the visitors passed the total for the loss of seven wickets.
Hundleton hammered Herbrandston seconds after scoring 193-6, before shooting the visitors out for 62 to win by 131 runs.
Scott Richards scored 52 for the home side and Paul Fox 43, before Ben Adams took 5-22 and Chris Stapleton 3-8.
Pembroke seconds lost at Llanrhian by 63 runs after the home side struck 172-5, before bowling the visitors out for 109, while Pembroke Dock seconds lost to Stackpole seconds by four wickets in a high-scoring game.
The home side batted first and scored 177-9 as Chris Boyett scored 48 and James Olyett 26, while Lewis Gibby took 2-34 for Stackpole and also scored 69, before Richard Simons scored the same to see them home.
In division six, Whitland thirds went down by three wickets at home to Lamphey seconds, who bowled the home team out for 130 thanks to Maldwyn Llewellyn taking 4-25 as Gwynne Phillips scored 24 and Hefin Thomas 22.
Connor Bowen took 2-12 for the home side, but Lamphey scraped past the total as Scott Brunton scored 53 and Phil Kidney 26 not out.
Meanwhile, Hundleton seconds beat Crymych seconds away from home after passing the home team's 154-5 by five wickets.
Steve Williams was the visitors' top scorer with 86 not out, while David Lockyear hit 31.
