Last Thursday saw the Finals Night take place at Narberth RFC, where a decent crowd of over 100 witnessed some good play.
First off saw the Jeffreyston C triples team of Richard Lewis, Marc Thomas and Scott McQuarry take the title by five frames to three against Mark George, Matthew Thomas and Mark Mohamed, of the Station House A.
Next up saw A League winners RAOB A play the White Horse and few would have predicted the Kilgetty side to take a 3-0 lead, but they did, but were then pegged back to three-all. A shared doubles then saw a last frame win just go to the Narberth side.
The Under 25s saw a close 3-2 win for Marc Thomas (Jeff C) over Alan Luke (Dragon A), and keeping it in the family, Marc's elder brother, Tony Thomas (Jeff C) then went on to beat Matthew Thomas (St.House) in the Captains.
The much-awaited Singles saw the on form Will Vallance (RAOB) play the much experienced Wayne John (White Horse) and it was Will who made some decisive clearances to win by four frames to nil.
The Landlords final between Steve Lewis (White Horse) and Robert Davies (Greenbridge) was postponed and will be played at a later date.
Other finals played prior to the night saw Helen Hallwood (Dragon B) gain yet another Ladies KO title, this time only just by 3-2 over Emma Privett (Sporting Chance). The Over 40s saw Wayne John (White Horse) take the title by 4-0 over Hefin Thomas (Whit Sports), while the Doubles saw a close encounter with a 4-3 win for Neil Thomas and Tom James (RAOB A) over John Goble and Geoff Brown (Alpha).
