After the great success in Carmarthen, 'Little Stars Rugby' is proud to announce its latest venue. Bring your two to seven-year-olds... and your trainers to Tenby Leisure Centre for 9 am tomorow (Saturday) for a free taster class.

The sessions are run by head coach Gethin Williams and lead coach Jamie Barrellie-Denning, both of whom aim to bring a unique coaching and development programme enabling children aged two to seven to develop great new skills and confidence through fun-based learning. This aims to improve their co-ordination, balance, listening, social and key physical skills.

"All Little Stars classes follow a set structure, with an introduction, warm-up, skill-based activity, team games, parent/child games and plenary." said Jaimie. "From the MiniStars class (2-3s) we coach the basics of movement, develop co-ordination and listening skills, while promoting social and physical development through interaction with others and encouraging the children to learn new skills.

"Our MegaStars (4-7s) takes the basic framework and builds into more complex skill based games, team relays, skill based activities such as group passing drills, developing kicking skills, and team tag games while maintaining the core elements of structure and discipline.

"And remember to bring your trainers, as we like Mum and Dad to join in the fun as well,"
