International success for local indoor bowlers
Congratulations to Ysie White, of Whitland, who returned home from the recent Home Internationals in Stanley, Newcastle, with not only a British Isles title to her name, but also a clean sweep of three wins out of three in the series. Ysie and her Radnor IBC colleagues, Paula Summerfield, Kay Martin and Wendy Price, won the fours, while Ysie, Barbara Griffiths (Llanelli), Laura Thomas (Earlswood) and Wendy were unbeaten in their games against Scotland, England and Ireland as Wales came runners-up to England.
