Last Sunday, the annual Alpha £200 Open Singles Knockout took place with a very high standard of darts being thrown. Achievements were too many to mention, with countless 180s and loads of 14 to 21-dart legs. Highlight was an 11-darter from Michael Blake.
Losing quarter-finalists were Chris Davies, Declan Coles, Ben Adams and Mikey Rees. The semi-finals went all the way with 3-2 results, losing semi-finalists being Grant Howells and Michael Blake.
The final saw Rob Hughes, of Haverfordwest, who played consistently well all day, win by 3-0 over a holidaymaker from Mountain Ash, Steve Williams.
On the day, £53 was raised towards the multiple sclerosis unit in Neyland.
