What a brilliant way to end the season! Our veterans had an outstanding game at home against Bro Myrddin on Thursday last, winning on all four rinks.

Where have you been hiding your talents? Maybe, there was no pressure on you, as the league ended at the end of January and no points could be gained or lost on this last game.

Saturday saw our ladies travel to Sully for their final D. J. game.

On Sunday, our juniors travelled to Newport for the junior Welsh fours competition.
Ben Sheldon (lead), Rhys O'Mara (second), Katie Thomas (third), and skip Charlie Morse narrowly missed getting through to the next round by only one shot! Well done team!
You may have just missed out this season, but keep at it, next season could lead to something much better. You all have our full support.
Also on Sunday, our gents played the quarter-final of the KO Cup against Ogwr, three teams playing at home and three away.

With a total score of 144 to 90, Heatherton won on four rinks and lost on two, giving us the much needed eight points, plus 10 for the overall win, with 18 points.
Our gents now go through to the semi-finals, date and venue not yet known. Keep up the good work!
Coming up
Our members are gearing up for the tournaments at the end of March.
Most games have been played to the finals, which will take place after our club AGM, which is being held on Thursday, March 20, 7 for 7.30 pm.
