Tenby’s Dylan Rees was in the starting line up to play for the Wales C team recently when they took on England’s C?team at Salford’s Peninsula Stadium on Tuesday, March 19.
Following selection the team started with a four day training camp at Manchester Utd’s Carrington training facility and the game was held at Salford FC watched by Wales manager Ryan Giggs.
Dylan played the full game showing a strong performance with the match finishing 2-2.
Mum and dad Alex and Nicky Rees and girlfriend Brittany travelled to watch the game met by Dylan’s cousin Liam who had to sit on his hands as he is half English!
Wales C are selected from semi professional players currently in the Welsh Premiership.
Dylan is currently in his second year with Cardiff Met studying for a degree in Sport and Physical Education and plays for the football team where four other team mates were also selected for the squad.
All the family and friends are extremely proud of Dylan and look forward to the cap presentation on June 1.
