Two goals by Connor Willis gave Angle the upper hand in their home clash against Narberth after the hosts won 2-1. The mid-table clash promised plenty before the game with both sides equal on paper and so it proved with both teams intent on playing attractive football. Adam Frearson scored for the Bluebirds, but the home team shaded the game and the result was a fair one in the end.

There was an epic basement battle between Carew and Monkton Swifts, with the Rooks coming out on top 6-4.

The bottom two clubs of the division showed plenty of endeavour going forward, but were maybe a little lax in defence as the match bore 10 goals. James Hinchliffe and Scott Ferney grabbed a brace apiece for the hosts, with Jordan Williams and Ian Derbyshire netting the others, while a brace by Luke Probert followed by others from Ben Nicholas and Tom Powell ensured the visitors were in it right until the end.

There was another derby over the Ridgeway from Carew as Lamphey entertained Pennar Robins in a match sponsored by the Bush Inn, Pembroke Dock. The Stags came out on top against the Robins 4-3 as Sam Southcott, Alex Lewis Josh Dearsley and Billy Davies (with a penalty) all scored. For Pennar, the goals came from Carl Rees, Phil Thompson and Craig Asparassa.

The game between Milford United and Tenby ended in a draw as a Darryl Mansbridge goal ensured it finished 1-1.

In the first round of the second division cup, St. Clears eased into round two following a 5-3 win at home against Letterston. Joe Gouldingay scored twice for the Saints, with the others coming from Jon Thomas, Lewis Driscoll and Gareth Griffiths.

Lawrenny bombed out at the first stage, losing 3-0 at Hakin United seconds, while the game between Hundleton and Goodwick United seconds was postponed after Goodwick withdrew from the competition, meaning the hosts had a walkover into the next round.

There was an exciting game between Saundersfoot Sports and Prendergast Villa, with the Sports going through on penalties. After a week that saw the travails of the club laid bare in the press, the exciting victory was just what the doctor ordered after the game finished 2-2 after extra-time. Saundersfoot eventually won 6-5 on penalties.

In division three, the game between Kilgetty and Manorbier had to be abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch, with just 50 minutes being played, while the game between Carew seconds and Broad Haven ended up 4-0 to the Haven.

Pendine beat Johnston seconds 5-2, while Narberth seconds lost 3-0 at home to Camrose.

The final game in the division saw Pennar Robins entertain Llangwm, with the game finishing all-square. Craig Bendall scored both for the hosts.

In division four, St. Clears’ seconds lost 2-0 to Fishguard Sports’ seconds, while two goals each from Anthony Webb and Jason Evans, together with strikes from Lewis Haines and Johnny Goodrick, ensured a 6-4 victory for Lamphey seconds over Hubberston.

Pakanach Leghael scored twice for Pennar Robins’ thirds in their 5-3 win over Herbrandston in the AJ Tyres sponsored game. Jamie Groves, Craig Butland and Jack Sullivan also scored in the game.

Best result of the day went to St. Florence as they beat Solva seconds 10-0. Lewis Deforges and Phil Evans both finished with three to their name, while Owen Bateman scored two and Will Thomas one. The other came through an own gaol.

Finally, in the game between West Dragons seconds and Pembroke Boro, the match finished 2-2 after Phil John and Jordan Wright both scored.

Meanwhile, in division five, Kilgetty seconds beat Milford United thirds 4-1 at Marble Hall. Lawrenny seconds beat Carew thirds 3-0 after a Simon Cole brace and one from Mike Jolly.

Hundleton seconds won 4-2 at Llangwm seconds following two from Jack Blunsden and one apiece for Connor Hay and Tom Beynon, while in the game between Monkton Swifts’ seconds and Milford Athletic seconds, the points stayed with the Swfits following a 3-2 win. Corey Mair scored twice for the hosts and Joey Williamson the other.

In the game between Broad Haven seconds and Pembroke Boro, the points went back with Broad Haven following a 5-0 win.
