Over 50s walking football
Tenby and Saundersfoot ‘Over 50s walking football’ is now into it’s third year, and still going strong!
Playing numbers have not dropped at all during the summer months, with a very good turnout on Saturdays.
New members have joined, and guest players (on their holidays) from all over have been very welcome.
Sessions take place at Tenby Leisure Centre on Saturday between 11 and 12 noon; and Saundersfoot’s Regency Hall, between 5.30 and 6.30 pm, on Tuesdays.
Tomorrow (Saturday) the leisure centre is not available, so the session will take place at Greenhill School between 11 am and 12 noon.
Ages vary from 50 to 83, and new members (including ladies) are always welcome.
You don’t have to be fit or have played football, you can go along, get moving, and have a laugh!
The organisers are also looking for a referee, maybe twice a month or so, on Saturdays for the leisure centre sessions (at £10 an hour payment).
New members or anyone interested in refereeing matches can contact Mick Bourne on 01834 450078.
