FOLLOWING last Saturday’s annual general meeting at Tenby Sailing Club, Marc Shepherd has stepped up to the position of commodore, with Harrison Richards as vice commodore.
Club president Blake Shaw relinquished his commodore’s role to revert to standard committee member.
Terry Evans continues his hard work as treasurer, and Ted Lewis remains secretary.
Tom Eyre becomes rear commodore in addition to being cruiser captain.
Julian Cumpsty took over from Ben Roberts as sailing captain, Lewis James became webmaster relieving Carwyn Owen, and two new committee members, Bethan Davies and Emma Cox, were welcomed aboard.
The remaining club positions remain unchanged.
Dan Jackson was awarded life membership for his club devotion, following a proposal from Howard Yeates.
Redwing news
Dan Jackson would like to thank all those involved for making 2025 a great year for the Tenby Redwing Fleet, and celebrate with an end of season gathering on Saturday, 6 December.
Attendees are requested to wear something red, and let Michelle James know if you are coming, and if you have any food allergies.
Clubhouse
The Eager Beavers came top of the six teams who enjoyed taking part in the quiz at the clubhouse on Sunday part and look forward to the next one on Saturday, 3 January.
The festive season is upon us, and members can look forward to a Christmas Party with buffet and mulled wine on20 December, (booking essential), then the Boxing Day Swim, and a ‘Bubbly’ night on New Year’s Eve.
