THERE was an intention to hold a frostbite dinghy racing series on Sundays at Tenby Sailing Club which was scuppered by bad weather but Robin Wood and Steve Leach have continued to race in Port Talbot, and Peter Rose has raced in Dale.

A sailing meeting will be held on Saturday, 24 January after which the 2026 sailing programme for dinghies and cruisers can be formulated. To help this, the Pembrokeshire Yachting Federation fixtures have already been drafted.

Bill Dowell, Howard Yeates, Dan Jackson, and Julian Cumpsty, celebrated the success of the 2025 revival of Redwing racing in Tenby at their supporters gathering last Saturday.

Wednesday, 10 December is Junior night in the club. The Christmas Party fun starts at 6pm. There will be party games from 6.15pm and a free Christmas Pizza and chips for juniors from 7pm. Santa will be giving out gifts at 7.30pm. Parents are requested to bring something for dessert.

Next Year, registration will take place on March 25th and April 1st.

Members can look forward to the Senior Christmas Party with buffet and mulled wine on 20 December (booking is essential), then the Boxing Day Swim, and a”Bubbly” night on New Year’s Eve. Quiz goers can look forward to Terry’s next brainstorming event on 3 January.
