PENNAR Robins returned to winning ways in the First Division of the Manderwood Pembrokeshire League with a determined 2-0 victory over visitors Carew on Saturday.

With the reserves claiming a 2-1 success against Broad Haven in Division Three, it marked the first time this season the club collected six points on a single Saturday.

Toby Davies opened the scoring for the seniors on the half hour following fine work from Noah Davison.

Jack Jones doubled the advantage with seven minutes remaining, and the Robins defended strongly to keep Carew at bay until the final whistle.

Merlins Bridge edged past Clarbeston Road 2-1 in the other Division One clash.

Tomos Gwilliam struck in the opening minute for the Wizards, but Ben John levelled on 27 minutes.

Seventeen-year-old Daniel Isaac quickly restored the hosts’ lead, and despite further chances at both ends, the scoreline remained unchanged.

New Hedges Saundersfoot ran riot in Division Two, hitting double figures against Monkton Swifts Reserves.

Oscar Miles led the way with a hat-trick, supported by Adam Davidson (2), Harvey Drummond (2), Adam Carlier, Toby Smith and Finlay Drummond. Morgan Daye netted a consolation for the visitors.

Neyland cruised to a 5-1 win at Goodwick United Reserves thanks to goals from Sean Hannon (2), Gary Hughes, Mike Chandler and Max Bowman-Davies, while Hakin United Reserves triumphed 2-0 at Camrose through strikes from Callum Stannett and Shane Walsh.

Solva overcame Johnston by the odd goal in five. Leonardo Dinmore (2) and Alex Power scored for the hosts, with Charlie Hughes and Ashden King replying for the visitors.

In Division Three, first-half efforts from Logan Eaton and Tyler Thompson secured Pennar Robins Reserves a 2-1 win against Broad Haven, for whom Ieuan Hale found the net.
