SAUNDERSFOOT remain top of Division One in the Thomas Carroll Pembroke County Cricket League after a hard-fought two-wicket victory away to Lawrenny on Saturday.
Their latest success was driven by an outstanding all-round performance from Tom Mansbridge, who struck an unbeaten 66 and claimed superb figures of 5-35. Asked to bat first, Lawrenny were dismissed for 145, with wickets also shared by Tudor Hurle (1-21), John Mansbridge (1-22) and Neil Powling (2-14).

Saundersfoot reached their target for the loss of eight wickets, with Ollie Cook adding a valuable 24.
Neyland are up to second spot aftyer they beat Carew by 22 runs.
The visitors won the toss and put Neyland in to bat, Dai Davies (33no), Danny Potter (26) and Alan Webster (18) helping them to 167 for 9.
For Carew, George Waters 2-21, Shaun Whitfield 2-45, and Noah Davies 1-9.
Carew’s run chase fell short at 145 all out despite valiant efforts by Gareth Lewis (69) and Rhys Davies (27).

Cresselly, Burton and Hebrandston remain in contention after they all sealed wins on Saturday.
Cresselly beat St Ishmaels by seven wickets. The hosts won the toss and selected to bat but struggled to get going - Phil Llewellyn (19), Philip Cockburn (18), Peter Bradshaw (16), Ieuan Hawkins (16) the only double digit contributions on their way to 122 for 9.
For Creselly, the standout bowler was Mike Shaw (3-12) while Kyle Quartermaine (42no) and Alex Bailey (24no) saw them to 123 for the loss of three wickets.
Bolwling figures of 4-18 by Morgan Scale and a standout innings of 71 runs by Martin James saw Burton to a one wicket victory after a close match against Narberth
Herbrandston (195ao) beat Whitland (129ao) by 66 runs, Charlie Malloy grabbing the headlines with 61 runs and 4-30 with the ball.
