Wins for the top in the A League saw no change as the RAOB A won at the Alpha A by 6-2 and Whitland RFC chalked up a whitewash at the Angel Llan. There was an important match at Whitland as the Sports Club took on the Taf B and it was the Sports team who gained the points to stay in touch with the top two.

The RFC Otters remain in fifth spot after the Angel Narberth gave them a fright going 4-3 up, only for the RFC to take the last two doubles. Mid-table results saw the Taf A beat the Parcylan, while Lawrenny Arms won away at the RAOB B.

The B League saw last week's leaders the Jeffreyston A lose only their second match of the season, and it was the Jeff B who did it again, doing the double over them (no love lost there). That gave the Dingle the chance to move back to top spot, which they duly took by beating the Ivy Bush.

The Wisemans Bridge stay in third spot after they beat the Bush Robeston and the Dragon picked up a big win at the Glandy, but were a bit gutted at losing the 1001. There was a last leg win at the Iron Duke as the Alpha B took the points, and hard luck to the Eagle who held the Whit Sports B to 3-3 only to lose the doubles.

Achievements on the night: Jason Freeman (Taf A) 21 darts, Paul Emmanuel 20 darts, Andrew Evans 180, Aled Davies 17 darts, Richard Lewis 21 darts (all Whitland RFC), Clive Jenkins (Jeff B) 18 darts, Colwyn Harts and Stuart Phillips (Jeff A) 19 darts, Dave Morris 21 darts, Dai and Mickey Rees 17 darts (all Bush Rob), and a mention for Chris Jenkins (Whitland Sports A) who had a 111 three-dart average in the 1001. Omitted from last week's report (due to late sheet) was a 21-darter from Richard Lewis and a 14-darter from Andrew Evans and Rob Morgan (all Whitland RFC).

NB: Tonight (Friday) sees the mixed triples taking place at Narberth RFC. Players are asked to be there by 7.45 pm for an 8 pm draw.
