Whitland nil
Kidwelly 14 pts
Whitland exited the Swalec Plate on Saturday at home to Kidwelly, who struck with two tries either side of the interval.
The Borderers battled hard in the first half, but were struck a blow when they lost number eight Callum Tree to injury, and outside-half James Stephenson failed to convert a penalty.
The visitors scored their opening try when flanker Richard Pearce crossed over, and Adam Davies converted.
The hosts had the majority of possession after the break, but failed to score, coming closest when prop Gethin Jones crossed the line, but spilled the ball as he fell to the ground.
An interception by Kidwelly winger Adam Kirkbride, who ran 70 metres to cross, sealed the match, with Davies again converting the extras.
