There was no change at the top of Division One for the second week running as Hakin, Goodwick and Narberth all collected maximum points. Hakin remain top of the pile, undefeated, with games in hand and look favourites to retain the title.

Prior to kick-off in Neyland, several players were late getting to the game due to traffic problems in Haverfordwest. Narberth midfielder Adi Jones played the whole game in goal and pulled off a magnificent save in the first half that turned out to be very important.

Narberth were behind after quarter-of-an-hour, as Neyland's Paul Hannon fired a free-kick into the bottom corner. Midway through the half, Narberth were back on level terms. Player/manager Matthew Price saw his effort cleared off the line and Jordan Williams followed up to equalise.

The visitors were ahead before the break. Neyland's Sean Hannon brought down Matthew Price in the penalty area and Tony Evans scored from the spot.

The second half was a competitive affair. Poor decision making in the final third by the Narberth attack prevented them from extending their lead, whilst Neyland played several balls into the Narberth penalty area, only for them all to be headed away or cleared as Narberth defended in numbers.

Narberth player/manager Matthew Price said: "It's another good win away from home; we must beat Tenby to stay in touch at the top."

Narberth played Tenby at Jesse Road on Tuesday and tomorrow (Saturday) they visit St. Ishmaels.
