Tenby Swifts U9s 10 tries Pembroke Dock 0

The Folly Farmers are seen above wearing their brand new kit sponsored by Folly Farm, FBM, Saundersfoot Festivities, Big Brums, Pembrokeshire Financial Services, Tenby Glass and Nixon Builders.

At the weekend, the young Swifts travelled down to the Quins who had been unbeaten this season. Dom Booth started the game off with a typical barnstorming run, which resulted in the first try.

Dom scored a further two tries during the game. Young Jamie Ebsworth kept the team in line with some superb hits in defence.

Further forwards, Harvey Bowles, Henry McBeth and Ben Millward also made sure the line was never breached, and were always looking to steal the opposition ball. William Swales had a superb game in the loose and was clever enough to grab two tries himself through sheer determination. Iori Hicks was heavily involved throughout the game as he linked between the forwards and backs.

Both wingers, Dylan Scotcher and Thomas Harding Jones, also ended up scoring great team tries after the ball went through many pairs of hands. Harri Williams also ended up with three tries, one being a great individual effort and the other two from supporting the runners who passed their way round the Pembroke Dock defence.

Man-of-the-match went to Dylan Scotcher for his never-give-in attitude. He tackled all game and never missed a tackle, and was on hand to finish off a great try that went through seven pairs of hands.

It's great to see a team so young passing the ball about. To them it doesn't matter who scores as long as someone does, as they are all great friends.
