A county councillor for Tenby has asked Pembrokeshire County Council to carry out some maintenance management of trees in the seaside town that are covering up street lamps.

In correspondence to the Local Authority, Cllr Michael Williams, Tenby’s North ward county councillor stated: “The trees on the access to Lady Park and Upper Hill Park Tenby now totally block out any light from the streetlights.

“The same applies on the Narberth Road from the junction to Gas Lane to the area just opposite the Glebe access and below Mayfield Drive.

“Another area of concern is St John’s Hill from the steps leading to Wallsfield Lane down. Please could these two areas be reduced to manageable levels in the autumn,” he added.
