A re-launch event for The Care Consortium was held at The Tudor Lodge Restaurant, Jameston, on Friday. The afternoon went extremely well attended and the organisers PRP Training are very grateful to all exhibitors who attended the event. Representatives of numerous business from within the care sector were present and all agreed with the consortium's aims of working together to provide quality care within the county. After a review of the consortium's business plan, care home representatives networked with local service providers, whilst enjoying the culinary delights of home-made pastries supplied by the Tudor Lodge Restaurant. The next meeting of the Care Consortium is due to be held at PRP Training, The Old Convent, Pembroke Dock, on July 12 at 2.30 pm. The agenda for the first meeting will be circulated to members shortly and also available on the Care Consortium website: http://www.care-consortium.co.uk">www.care-consortium.co.uk For further information on becoming a member, please contact Katie Collins on 01646 623780 or [email protected]">[email protected]. • The Care Consortium consists of a number of Pembrokeshire nursing and residential homes who are committed to staff training and development.
