Police investigating the death of a teenager hours after celebrating his 18th birthday are appealing for witnesses.
During the early hours of Monday, July 27, emergency services received a report of a man who had fallen into the Mill Pond in Pembroke. The male, identified as 18-year-old Robert Mansfield from the area, died as a result. The death is not been treated as suspicious.
Said a police spokesperson:“Enquiries have identified that a number of persons were in the area of the Mill Pond at the relevant time. Officers would like to speak with any persons who were at Mill Pond during the early hours of Monday, July 27, between 2 and 2.45 am.”
