Last year, Claire Stubbs and husband Steve set themselves a challenge to raise money for Tenby RNLI by running the Long Course Weekend Marathon.

This year, they wanted to do something bigger and better, so they decided to enter the Wales Ironman competition.

Once Claire and Steve had entered, Claire's brother Paul Luger decided to join them and raise funds once again for Tenby RNLI.

They all managed to complete the Ironman, with finishing times of, Steve 12 hours 45 minutes, Claire 13 hours 20 and Paul 13 hours 37.

After adding up all the money, they had raised £2,165.38.

They would like to say a big thank you to all the people who sponsored and supported them throughout the year, especially their mum and Leanne for holding the fort in the New Inn, Amroth, while Paul trained, all their children Tom, Jas, Alfie and Aimee, and not forgetting their coach Sarah.

They don't think that they will be able to top this challenge!

A huge thank you from everyone at Tenby RNLI.
