ROADS at Amroth and Wisemans Bridge are now open. But this was the scene at Wiseman’s Bridge on Saturday morning (December 6), photographed by Malcolm Richards.

Following the early morning rough tides (high tide was around 6.30am), further damage was caused to the already damaged sea bank.

The picture shows stones and debris covering the road as a result.

Pembrokeshire County Council shared photographs of the clean-up effort on Sunday, and has also issued the following warning:

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning linked of heavy rain and wind tonight (8 December) from 6pm until Tuesday evening (December 9) linked to Storm Bram. This is likely to lead to surface water flooding and difficult driving conditions.

NRW flood alerts are in place for coastal areas and there is also risk of dangerous conditions on coastal fronts with high waves and flying debris.

Flood warnings have been issued for the River Ritec at Tenby and Dale. The situation at Newgale will be monitored.
