A Level and AS students across Carmarthenshire have collected their results today, Thursday 14 August 2025, with a total of 94.9% of students achieving grade A*-E at A level and 87.1% achieving grade A -E at AS level.

Through both exams and assessments, applicable to different courses, a total of 23.6% of A level students across Carmarthenshire have received A or A* this year; 18.7% of the county’s AS students in Carmarthenshire achieved A grades.

Cabinet Member for Education and Welsh Language, Cllr. Glynog Davies said:“Congratulations to our young people across Carmarthenshire who have received their A level and AS results today.

“These results are a testament to your hard work and dedication. I would also like to thank the teachers, support staff, families and friends of our A level students for the support they have shown. I wish you all the very best in the future.”

In a joint statement, Carmarthenshire County Council’s Chief Executive, Wendy Walters and Director of Education and Children’s Services, Owain Lloyd added: “Congratulations to Carmarthenshire’s A level and AS students on their results today.
