A WOMAN from Pembroke Dock alleged to have been in charge of a dangerous dog that caused injury will appear in Crown Court later this month.

Katrina El Tuham, aged 44, of Bush Street, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 28 and was sent to Crown Court for trial on unconditional bail.

Tuham faces a charge under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. It is alleged that on February 22 of last year she was the owner of person in charge of ‘Nala’, a brown dog identified as a Pit Bull Terrier, which was dangerously out of control at a Bush Street address and whilst so out of control injured an individual.

The next hearing has been scheduled for August 28.
