A MILFORD Haven woman has been given a community order after driving at Tiers Cross when disqualified.

Rhiannon Young, of Cromwell Heights, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 28 for sentencing.

The 42-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a Peugeot 3008 on the Old Hakin Road while disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence.

The 12-month community order includes non-residential drug rehabilitation under the direction of DDAS and rehabilitation activity up to 15 days.

A 21-month driving ban was imposed.

Young also admitted to driving on a road without third party insurance, receiving a no points endorsement, and to failing to surrender to the court bail: no separate penalty.

A surcharge of £114 was added to court costs of £85.
