A LOCAL woman has been banned from driving after pleading guilty to drink driving at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court.

Alice Evans, of Harcourt Close, Hook, appearing in court on Tuesday, July 28, admitted driving a motor vehicle on Newtown Road, Hook, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in her blood, namely 120mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood. The legal limit in Wales is 80mg.

The offence was committed on April 18.

The 36-year-old was disqualified from driving for 12 months, reduced by 12 weeks providing a course is completed by February 27, 2027.

Evans pays a fine of £323, plus court costs of £85 and a surcharge of £129, payment in full to be made by August 26.
