REFRESHMENTS for a fun Quiz and Fizz evening at St Andrew’s Narberth on a warm midsummer evening were generously supplied by Tesco Community Champion Gill.

Teams answered ten rounds of fiendish questions on a wide variety of popular topics, compiled and presented by Father Robert. The results showed a narrow victory by one point for the winning team, and a good time was had by all competitors.

A big thank you goes to Tesco for their sponsorship and to all who helped and/or took part in a very successful evening.

The programme of community fundraising events continues next month with a Cream Tea at the Masonic Hall and a return of the popular Hymns and Pimm’s in August. In early September a complimentary Afternoon Tea will be held in the church to show appreciation of community members involved in St Andrew’s.
