ON Saturday, October 17, Llanteg and Amroth Renaturing Community are screening the documentary film called The People’s Emergency Briefing at 7pm in Llanteg Hall.

The People’s Emergency Briefing is a non-partisan UK documentary film designed as a public information initiative to raise awareness about the climate and biodiversity crisis.

Released nationwide in April 2026, the 50-minute film serves as an accessible tool for grassroots engagement and local democracy. The film builds on the original National Emergency Briefing held in Westminster, London, where over 1,000 MPs, peers, decision-makers, and institutional leaders gathered to receive an official briefing on environmental risks to the UK.

Rather than framing the issue as an abstract environmental challenge, the documentary analyses climate change and nature loss as direct threats to daily life, stability, and infrastructure across Britain.
