COME to the Saturday Salvage Squad on October 10! Whether you are 5 or 95, you can get creative with this eco-friendly craft session at Augustus Community Hall.
Taking place every second Saturday of the month between 1pm and 2pm (before the monthly repair café), Saturday Salvage Squad takes everyday recycling and ‘art cycles’ it into something beautiful, useful and unique.
It’s an easy, relaxing, creative workshop for anyone interested in being creative and sustainable, including children with their adult helpers.
Entry is by donation, and tea, coffee, squash and biscuits are available for a donation. No experience is needed: just bring your imagination.
This month’s craft will be making night light lanterns from little jars and old magazines.
