EVERYONE had a lovely time at the Florentines WI meeting on October 12. Natalie from Grandiflora Garden Centre and Bramleys Tearoom talked to the ladies about getting creative and planting their own winter pots and how to plant bulbs ready for spring.

Natalie gave some really useful advice and tips and also announced festive wreath making workshops she will be hosting.

“It was wonderful to get together, share some ideas and to be able to learn how to add a little colour to our gardens ready for the winter months,” said a member.

“A lovely afternoon of friendship, fun and a bit of gardening!

“Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable meeting. We’re looking forward to seeing how everyone’s winter pots grow especially the winner of the raffle who got to take home a lovely pot as her prize!”

President Elaine also decorated the tables with produce and foliage from her garden to go with the Florentines’ theme for this month.
