THE next Manorbier and District Gardening Club meeting will welcome Emma and Cee-Cee from Hyphae Shroomery, a small seasonal mushroom farm in Pembrokeshire.

Learn all about mushroom growing at the Giraldus Centre, Manorbier, on Wednesday, October 21 at 7.30pm. There will also be Hyphae Shroomery produce to buy.

There will also be the usual raffle and refreshments, along with the ‘Jobs for the Month’ board and a plant, seeds and magazine table.

Everyone from near or far and any age is very welcome at these meetings, where a friendly group of garden and wildlife enthusiasts swap tips on gardening. There is always something new to learn about plants and vegetable growing.

Visitors are asked to pay a small (£3) admission fee.
