Williams Café in Main Street, Pembroke, was the venue for a celebration to launch a new book for Pembroke.

'Pembroke and Around - Through Time' is packed with fascinating old pictures, their modern equivalents, and accompanied by interesting snippets of local history.

After being approached by Amberley publishers to write the book, the author, Nikki Anderson, said: "It seemed such a good opportunity to promote Pembroke's incredible history that I just couldn't say no.

"Gwen Griffiths was brilliant taking the modern photographs, and a huge thank you is due to all the people who helped and supported in a whole variety of ways."

'Pembroke and Around - Through Time 'is available at the following outlets in Main Street - Dragon Alley, The Card Shop, Jabber Wocky, Castle Shop, Pembroke Community Centre and The Book Room in Pembroke Dock (Govan's arcade).
